TAM Media Research works in partnership with the Joint Industry Body. The JIB is composed of representatives from the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA), Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) and Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI). TAM works most closely with the JIB’s Technical Committee (TC) with whom all technical matters concerning sample size, sample design, research methodology & measurement technology are discussed through regular meetings. The JIB TC is headed by Mr. B V Pradeep, Director – Consumer & Market Insight, Home & Oral Care - Asia, Unilever Asia. It is composed of 30 other members appointed by the ISA, IBF and AAAI. Together, TAM and JIB have been updating the Indian TV industry of the developments, achievements and trends in the Indian market.
Over the last 6 years, TAM India has been focusing on fueling new developments in the arena of Broadcast Science. This has enabled the Industry users to understand audience behavior more closely. In this direction, TAM India will continue with its endeavor to gain insights through Audience Measurement in new markets (small towns) and at the same time ensure smooth sail into the digital world through newer technologies.
