TAM Media Research, India's TV Viewership measurement and analysis house is all set to strike the victory gong for the third time in a row at the ESOMAR Asia Pacific Conference scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan in March 2005. ESOMAR, the World Association of Research Professionals has formally informed TAM India office that its Research Paper on "Unconventional ways to understand In-Home TV viewing behavior - Eliciting responses through game play and fusing it with TAM TV Panel data" has been short listed for a final presentation in March 2005 in Tokyo. This is the first ever study undertaken on this subject anywhere in the world. The study will benefit Advertisers and Broadcasters.

- Top 10 among hundreds of entries from 43 countries; Paper informally adjudged among the top three by delegates; Only Indian Research Organization ever to present at WAM; Only Asian Research organization to present this year -

June 22, 2004, Mumbai: The team from TAM Media Research India, the TV Ratings Company, has just returned from Geneva after creating history at the WAM (World Audience Measurement) Conference held from June 13-18, 2004. TAM India's research paper was selected among the top 10 amongst hundreds of entries submitted from 43 countries. Though the official rankings are yet to be announced, most delegates informally put the TAM India paper in the TOP Three. The study by TAM India's S-Group presented here was a continuation of TAM's foray into In-Programme Product Placement research and for the first time approached this science from a consumer point of view.
