  • 'Motorcycle’ category had accounted for 83% of overall Two Wheelers advertising on TV followed by the 'Scooterette' category with 13% during 2008.
  • During 2008, 'Hero Honda Motors Ltd' leads with 33% share of overall Two Wheelers category advertising on TV followed by 'TVS Motor Company' and 'Bajaj Auto Ltd' with 26% and 17% share respectively.

  • 8 of the Top 10 list of new entrants from Two Wheelers category advertised on TV belonged to 'Motorcycle' category during 2008.
  • Among the Top 10 new Two Wheeler brands on TV, 3 belonged to ‘Yamaha Motor India Pvt Ltd’ and 2 each were of ‘TVS Motor Company’ and ‘Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Ltd’ during 2008.
  • Advertising of Two Wheelers on National and Regional channels was in the ratio of 68:32 during 2008.
