  • TV ad volumes of ‘F&B’ sector have seen a rise of 48% during Jan-Mar '09 compared to Jan-Mar '08.
  • 'Aerated Soft Drink' led the 'F&B' sector advertising on TV in the 1st quarter of 2009.
  • 'Coca Cola India Ltd' and 'Pepsi Co' the major players of 'Aerated Soft Drinks' occupied the Top 2 position in the Top 10 Advertisers list of 'F&B' sector on TV.

Personal Care/Personal Hygiene

  • 32% growth in 'Personal Care/Personal Hygiene' advertising on TV during Jan-Mar '09 compared to Jan-Mar '08 .
  • 'Toilet Soaps' had the largest share of 'Personal Care/Personal Hygiene' TV ad pie in the 1st quarter of 2009.
  • 'HUL' the top players of 'Personal Care/Personal Hygiene' advertising on TV had the maximum share of 39% during Q1 '09.

Telecom/Internet Service Providers

  • 'Telecom/Internet Service Providers' observed 7% de growth in its TV ad volumes during the 1st quarter of 2009 compared to same period in 2008.
  • 'Cellular Phone Service' had the lions' share of 'Telecom/Internet Service Providers' advertising in TV.
  • ‘Bharti Airtel Ltd’ had the maximum share of ‘Telecom/Internet Service Providers’ TV ad pie in Q1’09.

  • 'Aerated Soft Drink', 'Milk Beverages' and 'Chocolates' were the Top 3 categories of 'F&B' sector on TV during Jan-Mar '09'.
  • More than 70% share of overall F&B sector advertising on TV was contributed by the Top 10 Advertisers.
  •  ‘Coca Cola India Ltd', 'Pepsi Co' and 'Cadburys India Ltd' had occupied the Top 3 ranks in the Top 10 Advertisers list of 'F&B' sector on TV. Where the Top 3 advertisers share aggregates to 37% of the 'F&B' sector TV ad pie in Q1 '09.

  • During Jan-Mar '09, TV ad volumes of ‘Telecom /Internet Service Providers’ have seen a drop of 7% compared to Jan-Mar '08.
