  • During H1 '08, Print advertising of Confectionaries Sector has seen a rise of 17% compared to same period in 2007.
  • During H1 '08, 'Sugar Confectionaries' segment had maximum share i.e. 35% of overall Confectionaries Sector advertising in Print closely followed by 'Chewing Gum/Bubble Gum' and 'Chocolates' with 32% and 31% share respectively.

  • During H1 '08,'Cadburys India Ltd', 'Nouveau Dietetique Pvt Ltd', 'Parle Products Pvt Ltd' were the Top 3 advertisers and had contributed for 61% of overall Confectionaries Sector advertising in Print.

  • 2 brands viz. ‘Satva Choco De-Lite’ and ‘Parle Poppins’ were among the Top 5 brand list of Magazines and Newspapers in H1 ’08.
  • 4 of the Top 10 New brands for Confectionaries sector advertised in Print were of 'Cadburys India Ltd' in H1 ’08.
  • During H1 '08, 'Satva Choco De-Lite', 'Cadbury Bubbaloo' and 'Cadbury Lite' were the top 3 new brands of Confectionaries advertised in Print.
