  • ‘Housing/Construction Loans’ with 46% share led the overall ‘Loans’ category advertising in Print followed by ‘Mortgage Loans’ and ‘Auto Loans’ with 24% and 21% share respectively during Jan-Sep ’09.
  • Top 3 sub-categories accounted for 90% share of overall Loans category advertising in Print during Jan-Sep ’09.
  • During Jan-Sep ’09,‘SBI’ has the highest share i.e. 21% of overall advertising of ‘Loans’ category in Print followed by ‘HDFC’ and ‘Manappuram Finance’ with 17% and 16% share respectively.

  • 5 of the top 10 list of new loan schemes advertised in Print belonged to ‘Mortgage Loans’ and 2 brands each were of ‘Personal/Professional’ and ‘Housing/Construction’ loans category during Jan-Sep ’09.
  • ‘Non Metro’ Newspapers accounted for 53% share of Loan products advertising in Newspapers followed by ‘Metro’ and ‘Mini Metro’ Newspapers with 33% and 13% share respectively during Jan-Sep ’09.
