  • Compared to Jan-Jun’09, IT sector has seen rise of 64% in its TV ad volumes during Jan-Jun’10.
  • ‘Laptops/Notebooks’ had the highest share i.e. 33% of overall advertising share of IT sector on TV followed by ‘Corporate Image-Computer’ and ‘Chips & Microprocessors’ with 23% and 14% share respectively during Jan-Jun’10.

  • ‘HCL’ had the highest share i.e. 29% of overall advertising share of IT sector on TV followed by ‘Intel Corporation’ and ‘Cisco Systems’ with 15% and 12% share respectively during Jan-Jun’10.
  • Top 10 advertisers contributed for 89% of overall IT sector advertising on TV during Jan-Jun’10.
 
  • ‘Intel Core Processor’,’K7 Total Security 10’, ‘Lenovo Ideapad Y Series’ were the top 3 new brands of IT sector advertised on TV during H1 ‘2010.
  • Top 10 list of new IT brands advertised on TV comprised of 3 brands of ‘Software’ and 2 brands each belonged to ‘Laptops/Notebooks’ and ‘Corporate Image-Computer’ category during Jan-Jun ’10.
